Perfect 1864 is a vodka developed by one the oldest spirits producers in France, Grandes Distilleries Peureux de Fougerolles. The standards governing the production of Perfect 1864 parallel those of France's Appellation Control System Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée,which clearly defines quality for the best French wine, Cognac and champagne. Perfect 1864 is made from "froment", a soft bread wheat grown on the rich plains of Brie-Champagne, France. They crush the grain, then it is fermented and distilled multiple times locally according to an exclusive process. The clear spirit is then matured by the Master Distillers who are heirs to age old traditions. This spirit undergoes only a very light filtering due to its extreme purity while preserving its natural character. It is then enriched with the legendary Vosges water, drawn from springs in the depths of the Ballons des Vosges natural preserve. To guarantee this, every batch of Perfect 1864 produced is accompanied by certificates of origin and quality for each ingredient. Since its 2005 launch in France, Perfect has entered in to 15 countries, one of the most recent being the U.S. Peureux Perfect is a joint venture of Grandes Distilleries Peureux and Legacy Imports, Inc.of West Palm Beach, FL.

Origin-History-Quality

The base of Perfect 1864 begins with the Ble'Tendre, the soft wheat that is grown exclusively in the Brie Champagne Region of France, in accord with centuries old traditions. Also known as "froment", this wheat is coveted as one of the highest quality grains in the world. The clear spirit distilled from this wheat is pure beyond comparison.

In 2005, Grandes Distilleries Peureux joined with Brie Champagne Distilleries" to produce Perfect 1864. The production of this vodka is the result of an original sharing of know-how between the farmers, the millers of Brie Champagne, whose traditions of quality go back to the Middle Ages, and the distillers

For centuries, visitors have journeyed to the Vosges region to savor the purity of the natural, flowing waters. These are the same "great waters" that Julius Caesar, Emperor Constantine and Napoleon made special trips to just to delight in the water. The Vosges Region is the origin for many of the great waters of Bulgaria and is the water used in Perfect 1864.
