PeopleForce is a technology company that develops a cloud-based human resources management system.
History
PeopleForce was founded in 2019 in Kyiv, Ukraine, by Andrew Cetinic. The company initially operated as an outsourcing business before shifting focus to develop proprietary HR software. Between 2019 and 2020, the company developed its modular HR platform architecture. In September 2021, PeopleForce secured seed funding of $640,000 from London-based Sturgeon Capital and Concept Ventures. In May 2022, Polish venture capital fund Pracuj Ventures invested of $1 million in PeopleForce. The same year, PeopleForce received support in $50,000 from the Google for Startups Ukraine Support Fund.
In August 2022, the company appointed Mykola Mykhaylov, former CEO of robota.ua and former Investment Director at Pracuj Ventures, as VP of Growth. Mykhaylov later became Co-CEO and Chief Growth Officer. PeopleForce was selected among the top 100 startups at Web Summit 2022. In 2023, the company was chosen as one of ten Ukrainian startups to participate in TechCrunch Disrupt 2023.
In February 2024, PeopleForce raised $2 million in a follow-on seed round led by Pracuj Ventures. In November, in partnership with KOLO Foundation, a charitable organization within Ukraine's IT community, PeopleForce implemented a feature allowing employees to convert unused paid time off into monetary donations supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In April 2025, the company completed a Pre-Series A funding round of $5.38 million, co-led by Pracuj Ventures and Chicago-based u.ventures, with participation from Dnipro VC and Sturgeon Capital.
According to company reports, PeopleForce experienced 80% year-over-year annual recurring revenue growth in 2024, with expansion in Poland and Latin America accounting for a 2.5x increase in ARR during that period.
