Penny Collecting
Penny collecting is the collecting of one cent coins and related objects, such as five cent and ten coins. ( Most common in USD rather other kinds of currency ). It is not one of the world's most popular hobbies, but it is a growing hobby.
Collecting
Collecting is not the same as just coin collecting. The main focus is on the year. There are many variates in pennies; color, year, style and the material that its made out of. A normal penny collector with have piles of each year he has. He would also commonly have a year stack. This year stack refers to a stack of pennies starting off from the current year working back to as far as the collector can make in in pennies he has collected.
Clubs
Clubs have recently started in the past year. The most common name in penny collecting is the Cent Collecting Club. This is the only large club and they do trading and selling of pennies and equipment in gathering that they have yearly.
