Pennsylvania Classics
Pennsylvania Classics is an American soccer team founded in 2007. The team is a member of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), the fourth tier of the American Soccer Pyramid, and will make their debut in the Mid-Atlantic Division in 2008.
The Classics will play their home games at a stadium somewhere in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania; the exact venue has yet to be announced. The team is headquartered in the city of Lititz, Pennsylvania.
History
The Pennsylvania Classics organization hosts 36 teams from the under 9 group for boys and girls, to the under 19 for young men and women. The organization represents the South Central Pennsylvania region, though also includes the greater Philadelphia area. Many Classics players successfully continue through to competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association and beyond. The 2008 NPSL season will be the first for the semi-professional Classics team.
Logos & Uniforms
The colors of the Pennsylvania Classics are navy blue and white. Green is used in the team's branding in media, but is not included in the uniforms. The team logo consists of the Classics wordmark in navy blue, with the word "Pennsylvania" centered above in green. Centered below the wordmark is a navy blue and white soccer ball superimposed over a triangular, green soccer field.
The Classics uniforms are navy blue and white, using an Adidas template. The "Classics" wordmark is centered across the chest on both the navy blue and white kits.
