Peninsula vineyard church, sydney

Peninsula Vineyard (formerly Abundant Life Centre) is a Christian church affiliated with Association of Vineyard Churches. The church is located in the industrial district of Brookvale, a northern suburb of Sydney, Australia, in the local government area of the Warringah Shire. The church's pastors are Roy and Gae Barrett, who started the church, along with 5 other people in 1996. The church became adopted into Vineyard Churches Australia in 2006. History

In 1995, the first Vineyard churches were commenced in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane, Australia. On 13 March 2003, the Association of Vineyard Churches, Australia was formed, with Peter and Kathy Downes commissioned as National Directors. As of June 2009, there were 33 Vineyard Churches in Australia.

In 2009 the church undertook a building project which consisted of converting a property in Brookvale into a 175 seat church auditorium, offices and associated ministry rooms for creche, children and youth. The building renovations and DA approval took 4 months to complete.
