Pedro Fábregas

Pedro Fábregas (born 12 April 1965) is an officer at American Airlines Group, the parent company of American Airlines, US Airways and Envoy Air.

Career

Pedro Fábregas has over 30 years of experience in the airline industry. He joined American Airlines in 1983.

He is currently president and CEO of Envoy Air. In his current role, Fábregas oversees one of the world's largest regional airlines, with more than 14,000 employees and operating more than 220 regional aircraft on approximately 1,400 daily flights to nearly 150 cities throughout the United States, Canada, the Bahamas, Mexico and the Caribbean. In his most recent role as American Eagle's senior vice president – customer services, he significantly expanded American Eagle's ground handling business by increasing the organization's work with other carriers at more than 75 new airports with nearly 2,000 new employees. Fabregas' previous experience also includes serving as American Eagle's vice president of finance and planning and chief financial officer, as well as being the president and CEO of Executive Airlines, a former AMR Corp. wholly owned subsidiary. Fábregas is also a member of the American Airlines Federal Credit Union Board of Directors.

Education

Fábregas holds a bachelor’s degree in administration and finance from the University of the Sacred Heart (Puerto Rico) and a master's degree from the University of Miami School of Business Administration, located in Coral Gables, Florida. He is a member of the University of Miami Board of Overseers.
