Pedro Espinoza Bravo
Brigadier Pedro Espinoza Bravo was a Chilean Army officer and member of the DINA, the secret police which operated during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet (1973-1990). As an Army Intelligence officer, Espinoza participated in the so-called Caravan of Death in October, 1973, and was later operations chief of the DINA. He has been convicted of the [...] of Orlando Letelier, a former member of Salvador Allende's cabinet, who was killed by car-bomb in Washington, D.C., in September of 1976. According to the victim's son, Francisco Letelier, The Assassination was "part of operation Condor".
Pedro Espinoza has also been indicted in the Carlos Prats case.
