Pavannan

Pavannan (born 20 October 1958) is a Tamil writer. He belongs to a family of short story writers during the 1980s. His first short story was published in Dheepam which was authored by Na. Parthasarathy in the year 1982. He has covered the audience with various Tamil short stories and once such is titled Enakku Piditha Kadhaikal published in Thinnai, an online magazine which talks AbOUT the beauty of life in various aspects.

One of his important creation is Manam Varaintha Oviyam in the platform Uyirosai which includes contents from more than 50 Tamil writers. He has been continuously writing on various platforms such as novels, songs for children, articles, short stories and movie reviews. For the past 20 years, he has translated short stories, novels and biographies.

Life History

Pavannan was born on 20 October 1958 in Valavanur, Tamil Nadu to Balaraman and Sagunthala. His childhood name is Baskaran. He completed his studies at Tagore Arts College, Puducherry. He initially worked at the telephone office in Puducherry and later went to Karnataka as a junior engineer. He is currently working as an engineer in Bangalore.
