Paul I Clark
Paul Clark (born April 21, 1973 in Bristol) is a former football player for AFC Ajax.
Career
Began his career as a youth team player for FC Barcelona youth squad in Cadet A. He progressed to make 6 substitution appearances for Barcelona B, now known as FC Barcelona Atlètic in the 1989/90.
After falling to agree full professional terms, he transfered clubs and on October 19, 1990, he made his first full professional appearance for AFC Ajax in a league game against PSV Eindhoven. Played a further 6 league games in the 1990/91 season before injury cut short a promising career.
On 18 July 1992, agreed to sign a contract with Arsenal FC but failed his medical ending his playing career hopes.
Post playing career, moved into football Management for a short spell with Southend United FC
International career
He played 8 games for England as part of the semi-succussful England School boy team, but was substituted in his last game 10 minutes into the first half by fellow Bristolian Marcus Stewart due to an injury that ended his short career.
