Patushay
Patushay (پوتشے), alternatively known as Potshai, is a subarea within the consolidated community of Qazipora Patushi in the Bandipora district of Indian administered Kashmir. Situated 4 km from Bandipora town and 59 km from Srinagar, the name "Patushay" derives from the Kashmiri words "Poàt" (antiquity) and "Shay" (historical site).
Geography
The village sits at an elevation of 1,590 meters (5,216 feet) above sea level, with a temperate climate characterized by warm summers (average 23.3°C) and cold winters (average 3.2°C).
