Patti Novak

Patti Novak is the star of the A&E Network show Confessions of a Matchmaker. She is often referred to as the Simon Cowell of dating, regarding her tough approach to the dating world on her show.

Patti was invited to be a guest on the Oprah Winfrey show, which aired on February 1st, 2008. Novak was featured for a full 45-minute segment on the show. The Oprah episode re-aired in July 2008 due to overwhelming response. Patti appeared on the Rachael Ray show on July 21st, 2008. She has made numerous other television appearances including the CBS Early Show, The Mike and Juliet Show on FOX, and The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch on CNBC.

Novak's first book was picked up by Random House and will be released in January 2009. It is entitled Get Over Yourself.

Patti owns and operates professional, private matchmaking services in Buffalo, New York and Kalamazoo, Michigan.
