The Patras FCA 1939-40 season began on November 12, 1939. The season reminded from many hooligan events that happened on the field even in the second-level teams. Some of the reports included the one on December 10 in Aigio as the Panaigaialeio fans delayed the game with Panachaiki, Second level game where Panachaiki faced Thyella and fighting fans during the end of the match. Several fans in the Olympiacos - Panachaiki and in the second game with 7,000 spectators (February 4, 1940), a record set at that time. In April, it played at the today's field of Panachaiki. It included second and third division championships and second and third level teams. The EPON Cup nad the championships with unofficial teams.
