Partnership for Poverty Action

Partnership for Poverty Action (PFPA) is a non-profit NGO based in Nepal, which aims to promote social justice, protect human rights and create socio-economic opportunities to the poor, excluded and marginalized in Nepal. PFPA was established in 2012 and formally registered with District Administrative Office (DAO), Kaski, Nepal. The organization was established by human rights activists, educators and young community development professionals.

History

PFPA was established in 17th of October, 2012, same day UN celebrates as a International Day for the Eradication of the Poverty. PFPA was established by group of educators, human rights activists and community development professionals.

Ongoing Programs

Nepal Rural Tourism

Nepal Rural Tourism aim to promote rural communities as a destination for community-based tourism vacation. Nepal Rural Tourism aim to reduce rural poverty through home stays programs.

Integrated Rural Development Program (IRDP)

PFPA has launched IRDP volunteer project in Lahachowk Village of Kaski, Nepal.
