ParetoLogic is a software development company headquartered in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. ParetoLogic develops security applications for enterprise, business, and personal computer users including custom software for business and government. They offer products in eight languages.

Along with anti-spyware programs, ParetoLogic creates utility software including registry cleaning and file erasure. With their anti-spyware products, the company offers automatic updates to the spyware database to offer protection against new malware threats. As of November 2007, the database included coverage for over 230,000 malware threats.

ParetoLogic uses a proprietary technology they refer to as Zheng that assists with the process of online research and spyware detection. Zheng is described as a scalable information gathering and dissemination tool designed to identify spyware for inclusion in the company’s spyware database.

On Jan. 12, 2004 the company was incorporated and on Sept. 30, 2005 it became a member of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA).
