Oxford Science Studies

Oxford Science Studies (OXSS) is an independent provider of revision courses for learners studying for examinations at age 16 or 18, providing a programme of education that supports the English National Curriculum (GCSEs and A-Levels), in addition to international qualifications such as the International Baccalaureate and International General Certificate of Secondary Education.

OXSS is widely considered in the UK as a key authority on revision, with national coverage in newspapers, offering revision advice and guidance, in addition to regional publications around the Oxford area .

OXSS has received independent accreditation from the British Accreditation Council, an educational accreditation agency recognised by the British Government . Their extensive inspection report is available via their directory.

History

Founded in 1997, Oxford Science Studies was initially set up by academics with a strong interest in education. As the name suggests, Oxford Science Studies originated as specialists in Science, though have expanded over the years and are now revision specialists for the majority of subjects . Courses are provided at the D'Overbroeck's College school site, having previously been held at St Edward's School, Oxford.
