OurProperty NG is a Nigerian property technology platform developed by Taiwo Salam & Co. Properties Limited. The platform was established to provide digital tools for the management and administration of residential and commercial properties. Its development forms part of the company’s expansion from conventional real estate services into digital property management.
Overview
OurProperty NG provides a centralised system for managing property-related information and administrative activities. Its functions include property and unit management, tenant records, rent administration, maintenance requests, inspections, financial records and communication between property owners, managers and tenants. The platform was developed by estate surveyor and valuer Taiwo Salam, who had previously worked in areas including property management, estate agency, valuation, land surveying and real estate development. The development of OurProperty NG was influenced by administrative challenges associated with managing properties through conventional records and communication methods.
The platform was publicly introduced in January 2024. Its initial development focused on providing property owners and managers with digital tools for organising property information and monitoring tenancy-related activities. It was also designed to allow property owners to access information about their properties remotely. The platform incorporated tools for property listings, tenant management, rent collection, maintenance, inspections, financial reporting and client management. It also developed features for estate and community administration, including visitor registration, vehicle management, resident communication and maintenance requests. The platform is accessible through web-based services and a mobile application. Its users include landlords, tenants, property managers, estate agents and other professionals involved in property administration. OurProperty NG’s development has taken place alongside the expansion of Taiwo Salam & Co. Properties Limited’s property and facility management activities. These services include tenant management, lease administration, rent collection, property inspections, maintenance coordination, facility operations and financial reporting.
