Our Hero Studies

is a new manga series by Asou Shuuichi. It began serialization in the May 142007 issue of Weekly Shounen Jump.

Summary

A mysterious "transfer student" shows up in a peaceful classroom at Holy Lance Academy. Their teacher announces that he is quitting because he won the summer jumbo lottery and continuing to teach would be stupid, much to the disgust and surprise of the students. It's suddenly revealed that the weird new student is actually their new homeroom teacher, Haganeno Ken, who wastes no time in saying that he is a hero.

A dangerous problem child in class 1-A, he has a shaved head with many scars, some supposedly received in a fight, and one X-shaped scar he cut into himself out of admiration for Himura Kenshin.

An energetic boy with glasses who gets excited AbOUT big events.

1-A's class rep. She's brave and not afraid to stand up for her classmates.
