Oshonsoft
The Oshon Software Project develops and sells low cost, very high quality BASIC compilers and integrated development environments (IDE's) for firmware development for a wide variety of commonly used microcontroller families.
Oshonsoft IDE's currently support the venerable Zilog Z80 and Intel 8085. Oshonsoft also supports many Microchip PIC microcontrollers including virtually all varieties of their 10F, 12F, 16F and 18F chip lines. Recently, an Oshonsoft IDE for Atmel microcontrollers was put on the market.
The strength of Oshonsoft product offerings lies in the commonality of their IDEs and compilers over a formidable variety of target microcontrollers. This makes shifting from one chip to another and from one microcontroller family to another extremely easy.
Oshonsoft's clients include, inter alia, NASA, Texas Instruments Malaysia, Dresser, Inc UK, Varian, Alcatel Canada, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center and Seagate Technology as well as hundreds of smaller firms.
