Origin Brand Consultants (also known as 'Origin' and sometimes 'Origin Branding') is a brand development company specialising in brand naming, design, brand strategy and market research. Its headquarters are located in East Molesey, UK.
History
In 1996, Addison Whitney Worldwide was founded in Richmond-Upon-Thames, as a UK based subsidiary of parent company, Addison Whitney. In 1999, a management buyout of the subsidiary resulted in the formation of Origin Brand Consultants. In 2005, the company moved from Richmond to its current location in East Molesey, UK.

Origin in the news
In 2006, Origin worked with BP to create the brand name 'targetneutral' for BP's carbon-offsetting scheme for car drivers. This was noted by Brand Republic in an article published on August 23rd 2006 here
