History

Onboardly started as a PR and Marketing Agency in July 2012 by Renée Warren and Heather Carson. Before Onboardly, Warren was the CEO and co-founder of another digital marketing agency, Carson ran her own PR consultancy. Warren and Carson established Onboardly to provide marketing services to small and medium-sized companies, along with startups.

As of 2026, the company's website redirects to a website referring to "DropDesk Spaces", which says its purpose is "To unlock the potential of underutilized spaces".
