Omnis, Inc. is a privately owned company founded in 2004 by Richard J. Tauss (1939-2007), Dr. Joseph E. Pesce, and Zachary G. Warfield. Headquartered in McLean, VA, Omnis is composed of researchers, engineers, and other workers focused on developing solutions to problems facing the intelligence, defense, and national security industries. Its client base spans the private and public sectors, with extensive contracts from agencies in the United States Intelligence Community.
History
Omnis, Inc. was originally supported as a subsidiary of Intec, Inc., a company with a self-proclaimed reputation for their successful sponsorship of technology start up companies. Intec was founded by Richard J. Tauss, who also served as the Chief Executive Officer. Carl Duckett, former CIA Director of Sceince and Technology (1966-1976) served as the company’s chairman.

Threat Finance & Market Intelligence (MARKINT)
In 2008, Omnis recruited Wall Street professionals Christina Ray and Jim Rickards to develop a department in Threat Finance and Market Intelligence. Using their 60 years of combined experience in global capital and commodities markets, Ray and Rickards established a 24/7 strategic watch capability, used “to derive unique actionable intelligence from global markets using proprietary analytics and advances behavioral modeling."
