Ogre Triplets

The Ogre Triplets are minor characters in the Shrek film series. So far, they have only physically appeared at the ending of Shrek The Third and they are among the offsprings in the Shrek universe other than the dronkeys. The triplets are the children of Shrek and Princess Fiona.

Names and Characteristics

Since not much have been shown in their debut, their names and characteristics have not been explored. However, it is shown that they are extremely playful. Their favourite drink is revealed to be slug juice. There are 2 males and 1 female (this can be seen when she is wearing a pink bowtie, in a female fashion, tied to her hair). However, one of the ogre triplets has been unofficially called, Shrek Jr., by Donkey. Whether this is the triplet's actual name is unknown. Like their parents, their skin is green and they inherit a lot of physical features too such as their ears.

Shrek 2

Although they do not appear physically, they are briefly mentioned in a conversation with Shrek and King Harold in the dinner table. King Harold asked Shrek, "I suppose my grandchildren would be-". Shrek interrupts, saying, "Ogres, yes!".

Shrek The Third

Before their physical appearance, they are briefly mentioned by Princess Fiona when Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots are preparing to leave for finding Artie. She said that when Shrek and herself will go back to their swamp, there will be some little 'ogre feet' too.

In their first physical appearance, they appear (along with hundreds of them) in Shrek's dream while Shrek is on his way, along with Donkey and Puss in Boots, to find Artie. They flood inside Shrek's house and later, they laugh at Shrek while he is visibly [...] and wearing his graduation hat.

In the end of the film, they are already born and they play around the swamp. Two of them pull Puss's tail and head (putting a pacifier into his mouth). Another pulls some ear wax from Shrek's ear uses it to Draw Pictures with his/her left hand. Later that night, they are shown sleeping and snoring all in one small baby cot. Shrek and Fiona constantly give them slug juice for drinks. The ogre triplets are shown prominently in the credits, along with Puss in Boots and Donkey.

Shrek Forever After

The triplets will appear again in the film, set to be released theatrically in May 2010. Also, Cody Cameron will reprise their voicings.
