Oakwood Estate is a DLF Property. This is situated off Akashneem Marg in DLF City Phase 2 in Gurgaon. (Gurgaon is a major industrial and commercial city in Haryana and forms a part of the larger National Capital Region (or NCR) of Delhi).

Overview

Oakwood Estate has around 336 flats / condos as 3 / 4 bedroom houses. It is one of the best high-rises in Gurgaon and is inhabited by intellectuals and businessmen from across the country. It is now less than a kilometer away from two metro-rail stations. All major shopping malls and multiplexes in Gurgaon are in 2 to 3 kilometer radius of this place.

Construction

Oakwood Estate has 4 towers (A, B, C, D) divided into 2 sections (1 and 2). Towers A and B come under section 1 and towers C and D are under section 2. The central place is a large playground. The southern side of the playground ends is the entry-exit for the campus and the northern side has a swimming pool for the residents (very good by Vastu standards). The swimming pool complex also houses the community hall and a gym for the residents. the eastern and western sides of the campus has smaller parks of all sizes of kids.

Administration

The affairs of Oakwood Estate are managed by an elected body of office bearers under the aegis of Oakwood Estate Condominium Association or OECA. OECA ensures sanity of the area, uninterrupted power and water supply, security and horticulture of the campus.
