NuPinch.com is an online clothing search engine and an Indian e-commerce company headquartered in New Delhi, India. It was founded by IIM alumni Ankur Sethi and Vivek Jhorar in 2013. Nupinch.com scans merchandise selling across varied online stores and presents them on one single platform. NuPinch.com houses around 17 online stores and there are 20,000 plus products to search from different portals like shopnineteen.com, brandmile.com and others.

History

NuPinch was founded in 2013 by IIM alumni Ankur Sethi and Vivek Jhorar. The decision to build NuPinch was born when one day Ankur Sethi's wife, Pallavi, was browsing online to find a dress and she could not find it. Ankur and Vivek got thinking and decided to RESOLVE her problem. They were discussing the problem in the CoFFEE shop and NuPinch was born. Prior to NuPinch, Ankur started his own recruitment firm and also set up a dance and entertainment venture – Thump Entertainment Pvt. Vivek Jhorar worked with Bharti Walmart in the retail venture when it was just starting. Vivek worked there for four years, doing various stints and overseeing expansion of Bharti Walmart from 4 stores to a nationwide footprint.

Funding

NuPinch.com is bootstrapped by Vivek and Ankur with around 10 lakh being invested in the business. The company will also be exploring fund raising options to fulfil its growth strategy.

On April 4, 2013 NuPinch.com was endorsed by One Million by One Million group, a global virtual incubator, whose mission is to help a million entrepreneurs reach a million dollars in annual revenue and beyond by 2020 and create a trillion dollars in global GDP and ten million jobs.
