Overview

NuGEN Technologies provides next-generation sequencing (NGS) sample prep reagents for DNA-Seq, whole transcriptome RNA-Seq, mRNA-Seq, Methyl-Seq, and Targeted SNP genotyping. NuGEN technologies provides products that work with different sample types including fresh, frozen, cell-free DNA and RNA, FFPE, laser capture microdissection, and liquid biopsy. NuGEN provides Unique Dual Indexes with specific products to enable researchers to identify barcode hopping, a problem identified with Illumina sequencers.

NuGEN's products have been the basis for studies published in scientific publications, such as Nature, Cell, Neuron, Blood, eLife, PLoS One, PNAS, and Infection and Immunity.

In 2017, NuGEN Technologies partnered with Cambridge Epigenetics to provide True-Methyl oxBS technology with their Methyl-Seq and RRBS Methyl-Seq library prep kits.
