Novo Solutions is a privately held Independent Software Vendor specializing in knowledge management and customer support software solutions. Located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Novo’s name (from the Latin de Novo) and philosophy means to make anew, refresh and revive.
History
Novo Solutions was founded in 1999 by Rich Hunter who serves as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
Products
Because of the high labor costs associated with customized solutions, Novo launched its first off the shelf web-based product, the Novo Knowledge Base in 2003, followed by the Novo Help Desk in 2004. Other customer service solutions quickly followed, including the Novo Service Desk, which has far reaching tracking capabilities outside of IT and call center operations. Novo has shaped the software to support retail facilities, such as AppleGreen to utilize proven issue management methodology in non-typical request tracking environments. Utilizing API technology the software can also be combined with other applications, such as PublicStuff, to provide customized solutions.
