North Texas Crunch

The North Texas Crunch are a professional indoor football team based out of Fort Worth, Texas. They are current members of the American Professional Football League and play their home games at the John Justin Arena located inside the Will Rogers Memorial Center (formerly the Will Rogers Equestrian Center) in Fort Worth. They won the APFL championship in 2013 in their first season with that league. They are the second indoor team to play in Fort Worth following the Fort Worth Cavalry of the Arena Football League, who played their only season in 1994.

History

The Church were founded in 2007 and began play in 2008 as a member of the Independent Indoor Football Alliance. During their time with that league, they won three consecutive league champions in 2008, 2009 and 2010. But they lost a shot at a fourth straight title losing to the East Texas Wranglers 21-20 to finish their season 7-4. They did not play in 2012 after the IIFA collapsed and folded. But would join the APFL and immediately won another title, their first with their new league.

The Crunch also have a farm team in the developmental system called the Louisiana Spartans.
