Noonvale

Noonvale is a fictional woodland village in the Redwall series by Brian Jacques. It is mentioned only in Martin the Warrior and Marlfox, and is the home of Laterose and her friends and family. It is hidden away in the woods, and has never been found by vermin. It appears as a peaceful woodland haven, where the villagers live in complete peace, love and happiness, having all things in common, and feasting together. Martin encounters his first sense of true happiness whilst having his short stay in Noonvale with Rose in his youth, after journeying there from his escape out of Fort Marshank, where he gets a GLIMPSE of how his life could have been if the love of his life Rose, hadn't been murdered by the evil Badrang the Tyrant, whom Martin defeated and killed in revenge for Laterose, and all other innocents who had suffered under his cruel regime. It is later mentioned in Marlfox, when a traveling troupe claims they came from Noonvale.
