Nikonian or Nikonians refers to people who enjoy meeting and discussing their passion for photography using Nikon cameras. The word is used on various photography websites.
Basic information
The word Nikonian is meanwhile (as of 2007) commonly in use throughout the web, typically on English speaking websites. Since the year 2000 it is also the name of an electronic magazine for Nikon photographers, Nikonian.org.
The term also refers to Nikonians.org, a community for Nikon-using photographers founded by Bo Stahlbrandt and J. Ramón Palacios (the father of Mexican pop singer Tatiana) April 2000.
