Nigma Talib

Dr. Nigma Talib is a Canadian naturopathic doctor, esthetician, and businesswoman, having practices in both London and New York. She is currently clinical director of holistic medicine for Healthydoc, LTD at London’s Body Works West and she is clinic director at the Center for Balanced Health in New York. Talib regularly appears as an expert in health and wellness in her field in magazines, newspapers and television.

Career

Nigma is the founder of the West Vancouver Wellness Centre in West Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. In the period from 2006 to 2008, she was appointed as Examiner and Standards of Practice committee member to the College of Naturopathic Physicians in British Columbia.

Nigma is also featured in nutrition magazines and columns, such as Vanity Fair, Alive and Daily Mail, serving as an nutrition adviser. Since 2012, Talib has been a regular educator for the Functional Medicine Conferences held in North America and Europe. In the period from 2003 to 2005, she was adjunct clinical instructor in the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Nigma is the regular member of British Columbia Naturopathic Association (BCNA), Canadian Naturopathic Association (CNA), and Ontario Naturopathic Association (OAND). She is also a member of Advisory Boards of companies and magazines, such as Naturally Splendid, Ovus, and Alive Magazine.

Media appearances

Talib has appeared on several episodes of television series Breakfast Television, a Canadian television show in 2007 and 2008, aired on City television network. She was also regularly featured as a co-host on the Good Life Show, which aired in North America on Sirius Satellite Radio in the period from 2001 to 2009.

Awards and recognitions

She has been awarded with the Princeton Global Award for being a top professional in the field of naturopathy, as well as for her educational media appearances.
