Ni Bo
Ni Bo (Chinese:倪波; Pinyin: Ní Bō) (born 4 May 1989) is a Chinese football player who currently plays for Guangzhou Evergrande in the Chinese Super League.
Club career
Borned in Wuhan, Ni joined the Wuhan youth team system. He was part of the squad that won national reserve league champions in 2008. In Jaunuary 2009, he moved to Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Pharmaceutical for trial after Wuhan Guanggu was dissolved. Ni received high praise by team manager Shen Xiangfu and transferred to Guangzhou with a free fee. He was summoned to the first team in the middle of 2009 league season, but didn't have a chance to appear in the league game. After Guangzhou F.C. relegated to the second tier in 2010, Ni made his senior debut on 1 May in a 1–0 home victory against Anhui Jiufang, coming on as a substitute for Hu Zhaojun in the second half. He was substituted on to play in the next two league matches. However, He suffered a knee ligament rupture in mid-May, ruling him out for four months. On 23 October, after recovering from injury, Ni entered from the bench in a 5–0 away victory against Nanjing Yoyo. His knee ligament injury relapsed in early 2011 and finally received surgery in April, keeping him out of the field for the rest of the 2011 league season.
