New Zealand Human Rights Film Festival
The New Zealand Human Rights Film Festival, first held in May of 2005, is the initiative of the Human Rights Network of Aotearoa (New Zealand), an independent, non-partisan, non-government organisation formed in 2000. The festival is the first human rights-themed film festival held in New Zealand, and run a series of screenings in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

Human Rights Filmmakers can submit to the 2008 festival through the official website.
School Screenings
The festival also runs screenings for registered local schools, providing information packs for students and answering questions with Q & A sessions after the screenings.
