Never Give Up On The Good Times

"Never Give Up On The Good Times" was set to be a single from the Spice Girls' second album Spiceworld, as a Double A Side Single with "Viva Forever". However, when Geri Halliwell left the group in 1998, the group's plans were thrown into disarray, and they were forced to cancel "Never Give Up On The Good Times" as they were in the middle of their world tour, and there was no time to re-record Halliwell's vocals and make the video. Instead, "Viva Forever" was released alone, and became the Spice Girls 7th UK number 1 single. A promo C.D of "Never Give Up On The Good Times/""Viva Forever" was however issued to radio stations, featuring the Radio Edit of the song which runs for 3mins 22secs, as opposed to the album version which runs 4mins 30secs.

When Geri Halliwell let the group in 1998, all her vocals on the track when performed live were taken over by Victoria Beckham
