Netgables

Netgables Inc. is an American corporation headquartered in Kirkland, Washington that provides Internet related products and services. The company was founded by Kaviraj Singh and Taran Arora in the year 2003.

Products and services

Netgables has developed an online integrated demand generation and management system for small and medium sized businesses, called Saralweb, which is also its customer facing brand . It integrates a business search engine, a communication system and a sales automation system to help foster business relationships between various users across the world, and then to allow those business relationships to be matured into closed sales in an integrated experience.

Saralweb released in Beta version on November 1, 2012 and is now available for full use.

History

Netgables was founded in 2003 with the aim to provide Internet based solutions to organizations in India and the US. Early investors include Paul Maritz (rated as one of The 50 most powerful people in enterprise technology in 2012 by Business Insider) and Rahul Bhasin (Managing Partner of Baring Private Equity India Ltd. and a Global Director of Baring Vostok Capital Partners).

Technology

Saralweb maintains a global database of business information to show in related business searches. It gets this data through its web crawler Saralbot, that crawls the web for public business information.

Saralweb allows its users, that are mostly business people, to search for its prospective buyers through its business search engine. The search results it produces are based on the supply chain relationships between keywords related to different products and services. A business selling buttons, for example, might throw up in its search result, listings of businesses providing tailoring services, as it is one step ahead in the garments and textiles supply chain (tailors buy buttons as raw materials for their products). Hence, by intelligently utilizing many such supply chain relationships from its database, Saralweb accurately predicts buyers for a business, and lists it as search results for the corresponding business search along with a contact link.

Moreover, the number of supply chain relationships that facilitate the business search intelligence grow with every search instance, thus creating a network effect. This creation of supply chain relationships is completely user driven or crowdsourced.
