Nemom Pushparaj
Nemom Pushparaj completed Art Direction for more than 80 films including Danny, Mangamma, Santham, Kannaki, Paithrukam etc... He bagged several National and International awards. His directorial debut was "Gourisankaram" and he was the best Debutant director for the year 2003. Including this, he bagged five state awards and six Film Critics awards for this movie. "Banaras" is the second film of this art director-turned-director.
Personal life
Nemom Pushparaj was born at Nemom in Trivandrum District on 23 October 1961. He was the youngest one of his parents Mr. Kuttan Panicker and Mrs. Somalatha. His school days were at his native place, Pre Degree at Sanskrit College, Trivandrum and BFA in Painting with First Rank from Fine Arts College, which is under Kerala University. He is now working as the Art Editor of the State Institute of Encyclopedic Publications, Govt. of Kerala, Trivandrum.
