Nehru college of Management

Nehru College of Management is a business school in India, offering two years full time MBA program, affiliated to Bharathiar University recognised by UGC and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. This institution is sponsored by Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust. NCM was established in the year 1996 and has grown up by Leaps and Bounds in its endeavor of moulding new generation managers.

Nehru College of Management is seated in a serene environment of sprawling 25 acres campus,located in Thirumalayampalayam - AbOUT 1 km from NH 47 (connecting Coimbatore and Palakkad), 15 km from Coimbatore City and 14 km from Kerala border. Its calm, pollution free surroundings dissolved in the chill breeze makes the climate salubrious and atmosphere conducive for undisturbed and effective learning. It is easily accessible by institution's own fleet of buses and cabs and is supported by City Transport.

NCM through as HRD Cell has marked enviable standards in the front of Personality Development, Entrepreneurial Development and Placements. The customized soft skills training programs and continuous industry interactions have made our students more acceptable and result oriented in the corporate world. HRD Cell's role in identifying, guiding and transforming students with entrepreneurial flavour to successful businessmen is worth applauding.

CONSULTANCY PROJECTS

Continuous corporate orientations and increasing industry interaction has thrown more opportunities in consultancy services and project undertakings. This gives an ample scope for the faculty members and students to increase their level of industry exposure.

MANAGEMENT PRACTICES

In NCM the students not only learn management but also practice the same. This has made possible by incorporating Role Playing, Case Analysis, Paper presentations. Assignments, Debates, Management Games, Computer simulated Management Decision Modeling etc, and inculcating corporate culture in day-to-day college curriculum.

CORPORATE VISITS

The student trips to various corporate and industrial houses give them opportunities to get first hand information on real time management practices & practical application of theoretical management principles.

Students Development Cell called as SDC is the students management association of Nehru College of Management.SDC 2007-07 batch is presided by Mr.Rajappan. SDC assists the management in all the functions of the institution,formed for the welfare of the students.
