Negative 3

Negative 3 are a pop-punk band that was formed in mid-to-late 2006 by Sean Kelly and Michael Powell, both guitarists and singers. They recruited Aaron Thomas on bass and Jared Morel on drums. The name was references to Kelly's favorite bands at the time, Sum 41 and Plus 44 (- 3 + 44 = 41). Morel left the band shortly after starting, so Thomas switched to drums. Thomas then left for a short period before re-joining again in early 2007. Thomas moved back to bass and Ethan Pemberton was brought in on the drums. The band kicked Pemberton out for not attending practice sessions. Thomas moved back to drums, Powell onto bass and the current line-up was formed.

The band will be releasing their much anticipated first album in October, on '89 Records
