Natura water
Natura Water is a company that offers advanced Water purification systems. Natura purification systems remove impurities from Tap water while preserving the water’s healthy minerals. In addition to purifying and filtering, the systems can also carbonate the water and thereby dispense sparkling water.
Natura water purification system
Originally invented by Italians, Natura systems are engineered in America. The purification system removes pipe Sediment, distasteful metals and chemicals from municipal water sources. Commonly removed contaminants include Lead, Arsenic, mercury, Chlorine and pesticides. While filtering out such pollutants, the system keeps healthy minerals such as Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc in the water.
Natura’s water system first uses two carbon filters to remove contaminants. The water then passes through its disinfectant system in which a UV bulb completely irradiates the water. The UV disinfectant process reduces the water’s bacteria count, thereby protecting against E.Coli and Coliform bacteria that can be present in tap water.
After the purification process is complete, the water can be served at room temperature or chilled via the system’s refrigeration capabilities. Additionally, the water can be carbonized to make sparkling water. The carbonation system simply adds Carbon dioxide to the water.
Ecological and economic effects
Unlike traditional Bottled water, Natura water is not dispensed into plastic bottles. The system includes Glass bottles which can be washed and re-used, thereby eliminating excess plastic waste. Restaurants, businesses and hotels use the system’s industrial taps to dispense water into provided glass bottles.
Per the Container Recycling Institute, Americans purchase approximately 35.8 billion plastic water bottles annually, and more than 80% are not recycled. Natura’s system eliminates the need to produce, refrigerate and store plastic bottles.
Natura Water is served in top restaurants, hotels and businesses across the country. In November 2008, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts entered an exclusive agreement to provide Natura Water to its restaurant guests, citing positive environmental effects as a motivating factor in the deal.
