Native Missionary Movement

Native Missionary Movement (NMM) is an Evangelical Christian missionary movement located in India. The official website of NMM states the vision and aim of NMM is "to reach the most unreached millions in India with the love of Jesus Christ through training, sending, equipping, and supporting church-planting."

History

NMM was founded by Dr. Thomas Mathews, a native of Travencore, Kerala in south India, in 1963.

Mission

NMM'S philosophy is to "bring the good news of Jesus to the most unreached people groups in India", especially northern India.

The organization subscribes to a conservative interpretation of Christianity.

NMM runs many community development and disaster relief projects such as schools, orphanages, medical clinics, water wells and tanks, and water purification.

NMM is a non-profit organization.

NMM is a registered member of the India Mission Association, which is a national body of Christian mission organizations.
