National Institute of Child Care Management
The National Institute of Child Care Management was founded in 1993 by Dora Fowler. The main purpose of the organization was to come along side the growing number of childcare center directors and owners in the United States and provide a training and mentoring network.
NICCM was the first national organization to create and provide a National Administrator’s Credential that child care center director’s, administrators and owners could earn to set themselves apart in the industry. Since 1994 the NICCM NAC has been considered a mark of professionalism and advancement for individuals involved in the administration of child care centers and preschools.
Dora Fowler served as the Executive Director and lead trainer from 1993 until 2006 when the organization was turned over to the leadership of Bradley Smith. Bradley has created a network of participants and alumni and continues to promote the NICCM NAC as a mark of distinction in the early education industry.
The NICCM NAC is on the approved list for director’s credential programs in the state of Texas and serves as a key component in the training of child care managers and administrators throughout the United States.
