The National Day Parade 2013, also known as NDP 2013, was a national parade and ceremony held on 9 August 2013 in Singapore in commemoration of Singapore's 48th year of independence. It was also the sixth and 2nd last time that the parade was held at the The Float at Marina Bay.

Theme

“Many Stories… One Singapore” is the theme for NDP 2013. The theme gets Singaporeans to recall and share their stories as a realisation of their identity as a Singaporean as well to unite all Singaporeans to celebrate what makes them Singapore.

The colourful and stylish logo of NDP 2013 represents the theme “Many Stories… One Singapore”. It comprises circles of different sizes and colours that symbolise various stories by Singaporeans that have created a collection of Singapore's memoirs. It also represents the encounters the nation have gone through together as a country as well as the morals and ambition that makes a Singaporean.

The logo also includes a red heart at the centre, a graphic symbol of love and passion for Singapore.

Theme song

Titled as “One Singapore”, the NDP 2013 theme song was written with "Sing A Nation". It is composed by NDP 2013’s Music Director Elaine Chan and lyrics written by Creative Director Selena Tan. The nine remaining groups will join the choir, singing the theme song at the parade.
