Narbles
Narbles are a round fruit-flavored candy produced by the Ferrara Pan Candy Company, composed of a hard outer shell surrounding a gummy fruit center. They were introduced in 2004 and that year were named Candy of the Year by Candy Buyer Magazine. Through the years they became very popular. Today, people enjoy Narbles 1-2 times a day! You usually can purchase Narbles for about 2.17 ounces for .69 cents. The outside of the Narble is where all the flavor is. Many people have said that if you bite into the Narble correctly, you can peel the hard outer shell off to reveal the gummy center. The gummy center is not very good. The flavor variety is orange, lemon, grape, green apple and cherry. Narbles can be compared to Skittles, for they have a similar taste. Skittles bring in much more money that Narbles do during the fiscal year. A rumor is going around though, that Ferrara Pan Candy Company has discontinued Narbles.
