Naga MC

Muazzin Aziz (; born 1995), better known by his stage name MC Naga, is an English rapper and actor.

Early life

Aziz was born in Bethnal Green, Tower Hamlets, London, England is of Bangladeshi descent and attended Oaklands School. Aziz's mother died when he was a child.

Career

In 2007, at the age of 11, Aziz won the Rhythmic Award for his age category for the Rise Slam (now SLAMbaddasors UK). In 2009, he won the SLAMbassadors national championship again.

Aziz was on open mic at Rich Mix on Bethnal Green. He has played at shows across the UK and abroad. He has worked on spoken word and MusicAL projects, including touring internationally with Asian Dub Foundation.

Aziz has featured in The Observer, BBC London, BBC Two, BBC Asian Network. He has worked alongside Asian Dub Foundation and performed around Europe. In January 2011, he performed live on BBC Asian Network. In June 2012, he contributed to a discussion on BBC London 94.9's The Sunny and Shay Show AbOUT building a career in the music industry.

Aziz played a supporting role in the 2012 horror film Comedown and in the BBC Three drama short film Flea.

NAGA is also poet coach and workshop facilitator for SLAMbassadors UK.

Personal life

Aziz lives in Bethnal Green, London.
