Muddy Sea

The Muddy Sea May Be that part of the Atlantic Ocean mentioned by the Russian scholar Alexander Kondratov in his investigative work The Riddles of Three Oceans.

...west of Gibraltar there is a vast area of shallow banks and seamounts where the earth's crust has subsided catastrophically and the area has repeatedly been shaken by violent earthquakes.

If so, it is part of another mysterious conundrum from antiquity, that is, establishing the present or past location of the spectacular island of Gades, described by Strabo and other ancient historians.
