MRC Markets is a global financial and investment company headquartered in Vienna (Austria). The core business of MRC Markets is provision of access to the global financial markets for retail and institutional clients for the purpose of Internet trading. Internet trading is an effective way of capital management enabling to perform buy and sell transactions in various financial INSTRUMENTS – securities and bonds, futures and option contracts, and also commodities (gold, oil, gas etc.).

History
The company was founded in 1972 in Vienna (Austria) and initially was named Money Field. The primary activity was provision of brokerage services in the stock market: initially the company operated its business in the European markets, than advanced to the American market, so that clients could make trades on the New York Stock Exchange and the Chicago Stock Exchange.
1989 marked a significant event – the company and hence its clients became participants of the Foreign Exchange Market (Forex). In 1992 Money Field expanded its scope of business and became the member of the commodities financial segment as a result of getting access to NYMEX (New York Mercantile Exchange), and clients were enabled to make trades in commodities.
The key event of 2002 was the merger of Money Field Corporation and Rainmaker Technology which formed the financial holding company Rain Corporation (MRC). Since 2002 the global financial company conducts its business under the trade name MRC Markets. The company opened new offices in North America (New York, Chicago in the USA), Europe (London in UK and Moscow, Saint Petersburg in Russia) and South Asia (Mumbai in India). In 2009 MRC Markets received membership of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
MRC Markets is expanding its business on ongoing basis and today is among the largest world brokers to provide facilities for Internet trading in all existing financial markets. Due to the implemented policy of development and following the foremost trends in brokerage business the number of MRC clients all over the world is continuously growing.
