Moulay Yacoubi

Moulay Yacoubi is a Moroccan-born hair stylist currently living and working in New York City.

Early career

Moulay learned from established professionals in the hair styling business. He started his career in Paris, working the fashion shows with experienced editorial stylists. He studied under Vidal Sassoon, perfecting his distinctive modern-classic technique. Coming to the United States in 1994, he continued, learning the dry-[...] technique from stylist John Sahag, and razor [...] under British stylist Michael Gordon, founder of Bumble & Bumble.

Moulay’s work has been published on the covers of numerous magazines in both Paris and the United States including Harper's Bazaar, Glamour, and Allure. He has also been a featured stylist on CBS, Fox, and E! Entertainment Channel, and guest-starred as a judge during the 2010 Season of Shear Genius on Bravo TV.

Moulay is also an actor, having studied with James Price at The Acting Studio in New York City, and a jewelry designer, having studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
