Moufid Aziz

Moufid Abdelaziz Junior, (born 1980) commonly known as Moufid Aziz is a Brazilian-Arabic model of Moroccan origin. He made his feature film debut in Rockstar. In Sept. 2012 married with the doctor Thyala Vilarindo in Palmas, Tocantins, Brazil. Both live there.

Early life

Mofid Aziz hails from South Region, Brazil. It was Mofid's mother's idea the he should get into modelling, upon which his modelling career started. He was asked to get his portfolio done by his mother's friend who had sent it to the Ford Models agency, which brought him to India in 2007.

Early career

Moufid had travelled all over the world after completing his education. He had been to Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany and has modeled for brands like Chanel, PepsiCo, Gatorade, Volkswagen, BlackBerry, Gucci, Hyundai, Samsung, LG and many more. He has also acted in commercials for Lux, Xylys, Maruti SX4, and Slice alongside Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.

Film debut

Moufid, been a successful model and caught the fancy of director Imtiaz Ali, who decided to cast him as a Kashmiri in his film Rockstar opposite Nargis Fakhri, which stars the latter and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead.
