Moral decay (sociology)

Moral decay is the deterioration of society due to obscene displays.

Social critic Russell Kirk has defined moral decay or decadence as the loss of an aim or object in life (that values life or others).

Morals are standards which sustain humanity; moral decay would be the reduction and/or rejection of those time proven standards.
