Production notes

MooBeard was the first short produced for Random! Cartoons (back when Random! was suppose to be the fourth season of Oh Yeah! Cartoons) and also aired as during the series premiere of Random! Cartoons. The concept was created by cartoonist, storyboard artist and accordionist, Kyle A. Carrozza who never had any professional TV experience since he only did in-betweens and cleanups for Animaniacs in StarToons and was a storyboard artist, character designer and voice actor for Funnybone Interactive's JumpStart games. He and his animation friend Andrew Dickman (creator of "Ivan the Unbearable") were approached by a friend working on My Life as a Teenage Robot to try to pitch for "Oh Yeah! Season 4" so they both pitched there IDeaS to Frederator Studios. After several changes and revisions, Kyle got the greenlight.

Since Kyle had no experience in his first TV gig, he requested, received and gave the directing position to Jeff DeGrandis who not only was working on his own short for Random! Cartoons; "The Finster Finster Show" and directing "Thom Cat" for Mike Henry at the same show, but he also created Kyle's favorite show on Disney, The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show. Kyle did character voices, voice direction, character designs, storyboards, character layouts and key poses himself making it easy for Rough Draft Studios to work with the short. The short finally premiered on Random! Cartoons in December 2008.
