Mon Je Kore Uru Uru

Mon Je Kore Uru Uru() is a 2010 Bengali romantic comedy film directed by Sujit Guha. It was produced under the banner of Surinder Films. This film stars Hiran Chatterjee and Koel Mallick in lead roles and Biswajit Chakraborty, Supriyo Dutta, Laboni Sarkar, Saurav Nandi and N.K Shalil in supporting ones. The film has one scene directly copied from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and also have some parts of the story similar to Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

Plot

Rahul (হিরণ) belongs to a middle-class family. He is a young lazy guy. He is insulted by his father( Supriyo Dutta) all the time for being a jobless and lazy guy and always pampered by his mother( Laboni sarkar) who is always at her son's side and she helps her son in doing other things without letting his father know. The film starts with Rahul's father scolding Rahul for getting up late in the morning and his mother saving him. Rahul has a group of friends who are just like him. They form a bachelor's club called 'Mon Je Kore Uru Uru'. One day, when Rahul visits the club he finds everybody running around. He asks his friends what the matter is when his friends say that one of their friends, Rittik (N.K Shalil) is in a relationship with Diya the daughter of an OC so they are practicing how to run fast so that they can run away when the police is after them. Later, Rittik receives a love letter from Diya and he gets to know that Diya's marriage is fixed with another guy and in grief Rittik tries to [...] but he is saved by Rahul and his friends who promise Rittik that he will be married to Diya and they will runaway to Darjeeling after that. In the meantime, Rahul spots a beautiful and pretty girl( Koel Mallick) in the roads wetting in the rain and falls in love with the girl immediately without knowing anything about her-not even her name. The girl is also called Diya and she has returned from London soon before in an urgent call of her father. But when Diya gets to know that her father is planning to get her married to an unknown guy called Joy she decides to runaway to her friend Shalini in Darjeeling. In the meantime, Rahul and his friends kidnaps Diya( Koel Mallick) who is not Rittik's girlfriend by mistake. After kidnapping Diya, Rittik is mad at his friends for kidnapping the wrong Diya but Rahul is extremely happy as Diya is the girl who he fell in love with. Diya is also very happy on knowing that she is away from his father now and she is kidnapped so she does not have to marry Joy. She then blackmails Rahul and his friends to take her till Darjeeling. Rahul agrees to her option. But in the way the police chase them but they escape from the police. But, after that some goons sent by Diya's father chase them and Rahul and Diya are separated from the other friends. After that Rahul and Diya spend a night together and have a wonderful journey after Rahul drives the goons away. When they reach Darjeeling, Diya finds out that her friend Shalini is not at home and will not return before a month. She is chased by some drunken guys and again Rahul saves her. Rahul gets to know that Diya does not have a place to stay so he takes Diya to his house. Rahul tells his mother everything and also tells his mother to keep it a secret from his father that Diya will be staying in their house for 10 days. Later, the police catch Diya and Rahul and Diya acts in front of the police that she is in love with Rahul. But Rahul does not act but tell the police that she is in love with Diya. Diya thinks that Rahul is also acting like her. Diya tells Rahul about his boyfriend in London, Vicky (Sourav Nandi)( who is actually a bad guy who insults Indian culture and rituals and loves Diya for money) and requests Rahul to tell her father about him. Heatrbroken, Rahul does so for Diya. Later, when Diya goes to Rahul's house to invite Rahul and his parents, she overhears Rahul and his mother's conversation and gets to know that Rahul loves her so much. Diya's father is also unhappy with Vicky. Diya cannot understand what to do. On the day of the marriage, Rahul gifts Diya a rose and wishes her a happy married life. Just before the beginning of the marriage, Diya realizes she is in love with Rahul and not Vicky. She immediately leaves the marriage and runs to Rahul and tell him about her love. They share a hug and in the end of the film Diya gets married to Rahul with everyone being happy.
